So today we headed off to Ayuttaya on the train!!!! Which was cool. Vast improvement on the bus..may take longer but you get leg room, you get fresh air and best of all you get folk walking up and down the train with food and drinks for sale. In all quite an enjoyable trip.

We went through Lopburi which is swarming with wild monkeys..check out the photo...

We found a good hostel and then went off on a boat trip around Ayuttaya. The town used to be the capital of Thailand...its real old with loads of temples. The boat trip was cool, visted a few temples etc etc. Ended up in the market then headed home. Tomorrow Sukothai!!

p.s - we saw a pigs trotter on the pavement!! almost as gross as the rats head!
