Today J, CM, and J's uncle drove about an hour outside of Bangkok to Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Thailand. There we visited several wats, or Buddhist temples. In 2008, 2009 and 2010, we travelled mostly in the Caribbean, US, Canada and Hawaii. We were just too busy to post travelblogs, and Facebook has been easier to post pictures to, although not as good as this site. Hopefully we'll get back to posting our world travels to this site! We've returned from our Fall 2007 trip to Europe, visiting Switzerland, Côte d'Azur, and Italy. We've returned from our 2007 trip to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. Sleepy Puppies

Thailand has a massive population of stray dogs. People constantly bring unwanted dogs to wats because the monks will take care of them. These newborn pups were strolling around one of the wats we visited. Unfortunately, despite their cuteness, they oftentimes suffer from mange and malnutrition.
