Today J, CM, and J's uncle drove about an hour outside of Bangkok to Ayutthaya, the old capital city of Thailand. There we visited several wats, or Buddhist temples. We were amazed at these wind chimes made from Coke cans at a roadside stand.

Thailand has a massive population of stray dogs. People constantly bring unwanted dogs to wats because the monks will take care of them. These newborn pups were strolling around one of the wats we visited. Unfortunately, despite their cuteness, they oftentimes suffer from mange and malnutrition.
