Ok so yesterday was an early start, WRONG. Today we up and away before 6am as we are heading to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital to the north of Bangkok. Just enough time to grab a coffee from the Marriot breakfast and we head off to meet the Coach which is actually in Chinatown.

Todays itenary is visit ancient city, 3 temples then boat cruise back to Bangkok.
We may well be templed out as we spend just enough time at each to get the pictures we need and then return to the coach for the next leg.

We do however catch the largest Reclining Buddha, not the prettiest, that’s in Wat Po, the largest Green & Black Jade Buddha and a solid gold 3.5m Buddha.

Not a lot else to tell today, the boat trip back was uneventful and we have both decided that we will never ever go on a Cruise Holiday, 3 hours was enough for a lifetime!
