He guys, the elephants were definately worth it. They were fantastic! and we also saw lots of peacocks in trees, toucans (the most bizarre birds ever) , water buffalo, wild hogs and jackels. So all in all worth one night in a grubby hotel. we are now in Unawatuna, it is beautiful. Like a litle bit of paradise. our hotel room is also cool, it actually has part of the cliff face as one wall, you have to see it to believe it! going to Galle tomorrow for a little more history before coming back to Unawatuna for 3 days of sun and surf.

Hi Both, nice to hear that you are both okay. Gemma, Bampy will be so pleased to hear that you have finally seen the Elephants. Dad and I have both contracted the Benidorm cough!!!!! jealousy setting in
Hi both, I am really jealous now and wish i was out there too. Especially as this morning we have had hailstones and rain! The elephants sound fantastic and the thought of lying on a beach- you both sound like you are having lots of fun and relaxing. Back to work on Monday for me although I think I may well have finished by the time you get back as I am sleeping most days now. Going into hosital next friday for them to turn the baby but i am determined to hang on past my birthday! can't wait for the next installment sarah and russ xx
