Just returned from a week's tour of South Korea - Mt. Sorak, Andong, Gyeongju, Pusan, Jinju, Chirisan. Included hiking in Mt. Sorak National Park, Mask Festival in Andong, motor scooter ride to Bulguksa out of Gyeongju, hot spring baths and scrub/massage/manipulation in Pusan, temple-stay in Hwaheomsa in Chirisan National Park, KTX ride from Daejeon to Cheonan-Asan.
Now, having a rest in Seoul before heading to the west coast.

Mask Festival
Hi all, hope you are having a good time, although I am puzzled by KTX. Is that Korean Taxi eXpress? I am also curious to know what masks you wore at Andong? Not the Groucho type glasses and moustache? News from home is that the election date ... has not been set yet. Perhaps John Howard is hoping that the gallup polls might catch horse flu.
