on the way to Gyeongbokgung Palace We decided to try and experience some authentic Korean culture and made our way to the Gyeonbokgung Palace. the palace is filled with animal statues representing the different months and are said to protect the palace from evil spirits. we also had a tour through the national folk museum which highlighted the development of the Korean culture. we were able to try some Papbingso which is a mix of shaved ice, berries, cornflakes and icecream...and another other korean food which i dont know how to pronounce.
we walked around the Art village area in Seoul and saw all the different and amazing Korean Style artwork. The Korean food vendors on the side of the round all had different and unusual foods so we couldnt help but stop to try and sample a variety of the side-walk foods (something we would never do in South Africa).
After walking around the art Village and deciding to go and see a play we made our way to the Nanta theatre in Gyeonbokgung where the play Cookin was showing. we arrived a bit early for the show so decided to have supper at a nearby resturant, (KIMCHEE among other foods). The play was
The Palace
Changing of the guards spectacular and consisted of a group of chefs having to prepare a meal before a set time... this was accomplished with much music and comedy moments.

Wow - that looks like a great day out.... want to know more about the show and what you were doing in it Che'? All very interesting. Looking forward to the next update!
