Back from my Trip to Seoul, South Korea

I just had a blast in South Korea where I spent 2 weeks visiting family and friends. I am still a bit jet lagged as I just walked in the door of my house 2 hours ago but I dont want to sleep yet as to not mess up my sleep schedule.

I wanted to write while I was there but they were so many things to do that I just didn't get the chance.

All I can say is that I must have gained 10 pounds while I was there because it seems that this is all I was doing. Everyone in my family was commenting on how skinny I am and that they must not be feeding me in the US.

I even went to a baseball game to see the Doosan Bears play the Nexen Heroes ! (don't ask about the names its a Korean thing!) My cousin Huang who is a big KBO (that the MLB equivalent in Korea) is a huge Bears fan and he even showed my how to place a sports bet in Korea.

The funny thing is that in Korea, you can only place a bet on sports with Sports Toto and Sports Proto and then, your bets are very limited unlike the US and Europe.

Enough about that though, my favorite place to visit when I am in Seoul are the many food markets. You can get everything there from squids to fish! And each market has a kind of food court section where you can just eat on the go. Kind of like the fast food version of Korea.

I know that my Korean is pretty bad but here is my translation for my family in Korea

난 그냥 가족과 친구를 방문 이주 보냈다 한국에서 폭발했다. 난 그냥 시간 전 내 집의 문에 걸어 비트 제트 느껴지 여전히 오전하지만 난하지 엉망 내 수면 일정에 관해서는 아직 자고 싶어하지 말아.
