Last weekend i attended what is said by Koreans' to be "the largest firework display in Asia", which took place in Busan. it was spectacular with fireworks being fired from a famous bridge and also from ships in the harbor. the fireworks were accompanied by synchronized music and floating t.v. monitors. the streets were literally packed shoulder to shoulder by onlookers from all over the country. it is a very, very popular event.
i have to give it to them, it was impressive although the photos i got don't come close to showing the magnitude or scale of the audience or the fireworks i saw that night.
