Celebrating the loss of our Colonies

We have made many good friends here in Korea and most of them are either American or Canadian. After spending the weekend in Seoul on Canada Day (1st July) and missing our friends A&D party we decided to have a 4th July party at our new apartment to celebrate losing our Colonies and to help our American friends feel more at home.

What was originally a quite 4th July at ours with our good friends Kelsey and Nate turned into a great party in the evening with around 10-15 people crammed into our small flat.

We made lots of yummy traditional 4th July food; potato salad, beans, cheese sandwiches etc.

Once we all got bored with the party at the flat, we took our bottles down to the nearby batting cages to continue the party. The batting cages are a favourite with the men (and Kim) who take it in turns to try and hit the target around 4 metres away. If you hit the target you win a shiny new baseball, which Dave Shep from Canada finally did.

Another great night in Korea....
