It certainly wasn't in my top 5 places to see... hell it wasn't even in my top 15 but let me tell you the Philippines just kicked Lake Louise, Alberta right out of the top spot as my favourite place on earth! Meg, you captured this experience so perfectly! I am sure this will encourage others to discover the beauty of the Philippines.I am so happy we were able to share this time together. Sorry I didn't know about the terminal fee!! Yikes, that must have been a panic - adds to the story though!

im a filipino, and im so glad that you had a wonderful time in our country, el nido is indeed marvelous, i hope you could comeback and check out other spots in the philippines too... i couldnt agree more, poverty is big problem.
