It's been a week since I came back to the US. It took awhile for me to get over jet lag. I posted 24 pictures up today on facebook (out of 240 altogether). Overall I had a great time there. It wasn't just a luxurious vacation, it was part adventure. The highlight was Boracay. White Beach, as of my visit, was beautiful and uspoiled. Manila was OK. The original plan was for us to come back to Manila and do a series of day trips. Easier said than done. Traffic in and around Manila was horrendous! It takes a hour of stop and go traffic just to get out of the city, then add to that the actual travel time it takes to get to your destination. But I did manage to get out with the help of relatives. One day we went to visit Taal Volcano, the other was an air show in Pampanga. Next visit I'll stay at the beaches longer and spend a minimal amount of time in the city.

I had planned on staying at Friendly's Guesthouse in Manila but opted to stay at higher end places like the Executive Hotel.
