The scenery to Bontoc from Sagada is spectacular but I was so tired I fell asleep. In Bontoc we asked around where buses leave for Banaue, we got pointed to this dilapidated ugly bus,sign say Santiago but we were assured it goes through Banaue. Overnight stay in Batad?
Planning a trip to the terraces in July. Would you recommend staying over night in Batad before returning to Banaue? I'll have 5-6 days and would like to do Sagada,Banaue and Batad. Do you thin that would be enough time? Thanks for your blog postings...they are very informative and inspiring. Makes me wish I was in the Philippines already.

Batad is cool
Garret I hope you see this response, can you next time message me so I can email you back better. Anyway batad is great I prefer it than Banaue, i recommend staying longer in Batad dude, do the caves, great fun!!
