Last August 2009, my family and I went to Baguio City, which is located at the northern part of the Philippines. We did not go to the usual tourist spots there such as Mines View, Camp John Hay and Burnham Park since we have already visited those places many times before. What made this Baguio trip special was our stay at the Baguio Country Club. Apart from their excellent facilities, this place is where you can find good food. When you get a chance to go there, I recommend that you try their delectable pastries; raisin bread and ensaymada. Sumptous breakfast is served, and they also offer buffet during dinner time. I also recommend Hamada, a Japanese Restaurant inside the country club where the chefs cook on-the-spot and right in front of you.

Baguio Country Club takes pride in its exclusivity. Members enjoy the perks of this place such as golf, heated swimming pool, bowling, billiards and the like. However, if you are not a member, you can at least ask a friend (who is a member) to allow you to enter this club. Even though staying here is quite expensive, I can't deny that it is still the best place to stay in Baguio.
