Gokyo ---Chola pass --- Everest base camp Trek !

It was a bit bigger group 24 pax from Ipoh, Malaysia. I was also excited to do one of the challenging trek with a bigger group. Trek began smoothly with awesome scenery & nice weather. As usual the more climbed up, the more challenging. Fortunately all of them reached to Gokyo 4800m despite the some of them got a bit sick. More surprisingly one of the members, who had summited Stock Kangri 6100m in Ladak India few months ago, quite suffered by AMS at Gokyo. It was a bit unexpected me too though AMS can suffer anybody anytime. Some others also felt weak after climbing Gokyo Ri 5360m due to tiredness & stomach problem ( diarrhea). So almost half of them got down to Namche bazar and rest continued trek with me. Because of regular training, they crossed Chola pass 5420m faster than I expected. We had really breathtaking scenery with clear sky. Finally they all could make Kalapathar 5545m as well as Everest base camp 5364m. It was one of my memorable trek in Khumbu region.
