We caught a flight this morning from Lhasa to Kathmandu that resulted in us arriving here before we left China, 2h15min time difference. Unfortunately it was too cloudy for us to see Mt Everest.
After we sorted our transit visa, we were able to sneak into a lounge for our 6 hr stopover, a bit of luxury after some of the sounds me smells of China no whatever comes in India. A bit incongruous given all that has happened in this city, but hey ho.
