As I was conquering seemingly insurmountable peaks at 8,000 meters with my ice pick in hand and looking over the clouds and down on the rest of the world... So I was told we would be riding on the roof of the bus about five minutes before we got on even though there were seats inside and nobody was on the roof. After climbing up to the scorching hot metal roof while the bus was driving away, then avoiding some tree branches and telephone lines nearly skimming my head to take some pictures, I wondered why the bus was stopping in the middle of our "two" lane road with oncoming traffic not slowing in the least only to see the bus driver picking some berries off of a bush on the side of the road. After that, I decided to put my backpack behind my head and take a nap. Of course, I was woken up by Santu telling me that the driver said the breaks went bad and we jumped in the scariest taxi ride of my life, but that is another story.

This was our "two" lane road for buses, trucks, cars, motorbikes, cows, broken down vehicles, and gravel to pave the road tomorrow to drive, park, sleep, or be left behind.
