Selamat Pagi ! The heat hit us as we walked out of KL airport, even though it was half past Midnight - glorious ! we three of us had to share a bed for the rest of the night in an enormous hotel room but which only had a small double bed - we were too exhausted to complain at that time of night. By daylight our hotel, the Pacific Regency, is grand, with a roof top swimming pool and (distant) views of the Petronas Twin Towers. First activity at Eve's insistence was the pool of course !

We ventured by walking to the Twin Towers in the afternoon but got lost and hot and flustered immediately - KL is a sprawling mass of congested traffic with no signs and with the usual Asian pavements full of cracks and holes. Seeing the tremendous queues for the Towers we bought tickets for the following day and retreated to an air conditioned mall - we have to acclimatise slowly...

Hurrah!
You made it to the first stop, looks fabulous and we are all insanely jealous (though the top of the Petronas Towers does not sound like fun with my vertigo!) Take care all....and don't worry about us back here in the freezing cold ;o) xx

Hello Eve & Family
Hello Eve, Class 2 here! We are so glad that you have arrived safely in Kuala Lumpar. We are all really missing you already! Kualar Lumpar sounds amazing and very different to Jersey. It sounds like it's much bigger and busier. We can't believe that your hotel has a swimming pool on the roof - that's just amazing! We are all wondering what language they speak there? Have you learnt any new words? Also, what's the food like? We look forward to hearing from you all again soon, Take care & Happy Easter Love from Class 2 P.S It's almost lunchtime here in Jersey and we're all sat in the classroom reading your blog on the big whiteboard.
