These buildings were large and well-kept, the conductors told us they were part of a large school.

Incredibly picturesque! It was relaxing to sit and look out over the marina at the gorgeous yachts.

It was a 2 hour relaxing train ride from Kaohsiung. It is located just outside of Taitung on the Pacific side of Taiwan.

This was Pon's first marathon, and she was delighted, no, ecstatic to have been able to finish ahead of Lena! She is one competitive girl!

Our job was to cheer them on and drink beer while waiting for them to return. Way to go girls!

This area is renowned for their mineral hot springs, and what better way to unwind than to soak in this 42 degree water. We had a great time visiting with the locals.
