Leaving Melaka onwards to Kuala Lumpur

Breakfast, packed, checked out and strolled about 10 metres to taxi, need to be at Sentral bus station for 9.30 express bus to Kuala Lumpur. Our hotel, hangout@jonker is in a fantastic location. Everything you might want to experience in Melaka is just a short walk from here. With two BIG backpacks to carry,this fact was very much appreciated. Bus left on time, and, true to form, all other passengers, apart from a lovely German couple we chatted to throughout the journey, promptly fell asleep! How do they do it? We have much to learn. Arrived KL midday, crossed bridge/escalator to train station, and with one easy change and half hour later, were out in the bright sunshine, staring right up at the world famous Petronus towers, WOW! Quick taxi ride to hotel, smooth checkin and unpacked, preparing blog. Total cost of this morning's transport ; taxi/bus/trains/taxi = MYR (we know you're getting the hang of Ringgits by now, but this equates to £10 in total). Posting this blog from Healy Mac's Irish Bar opposite Petronas Twin Towers - conditions difficult as ? 33degrees hot & sunny, sorry to brag (oh no, we're not!). ?
