Seven foot lizard!
Do they bite, like alligators?? Do they just wander around the city? Wow. Are they protected...I cannot imagine having them stroll around! Love the stories and pictures! Sharon

Seven Foot Lizards
It's a good question about the lizards. The monitor lizards don't bite or anything, just wander around. We saw them often. It was always a bit creepy. They "scoot" when they see you, as our Malaysian hosts said.

alligators
I'm not sure I would ever get used to seeing the alligators. It's hard to believe they aren't dangerous. Did you see them often? Doris
