Well we (finally) made it into Laos, took us a 23hr bus journey but we did it. Laos is really chilled out, such a difference from Vietnam. we stayed a night in Vientiane where we met up with 3 Irish girls that wed met in Saigon. stayed a night in a gusthouse where the owner literally thought we wer in the mafia and threatened to call the police. then he chased a korean guy up the staris with a big stick. Afetr that we figured 1 night in Vientiane was enough so we headed up to Vang Vieng, where we are now, a small town surrounded by big cliffs in the moantains, which is famous for "tubing", which is basically where u get into a big rubber tyre and float down the Mekokng, stopping at riverside bars along the way. a floating pub crawl if u will. so thats what were doing tomorrow because today it rained like a......shower. Gotta Run, more soon folks. enjoy ur boring work a day lives. HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Love and greetings from Cabinteely
Just caught up with the blog again Alex. Koreans sometimes do have an extraordinary effect on people don't they. Just back from Rossbeg; peaceful and as beautiful as ever. Also, I was on the barge from Roosky to Athlone (not quite on the same scale as you guys). We miss you loads. Love Mum and Dad

Get well soon
Sorry to hear about your stay in hospital. Did you get the cut 'tubing'? Nothing as exciting on the beach here although Finn would probably tell you that a trip to Doon Fort or flying a kite with his Dad comes pretty close. Lots of love
