Beer from a vending machine?
I don't recall seeing any of these in Tokyo. This one I found in Kyoto just a couple of blocks from my hotel. Had the Sapporo for 310 Yen.

Broiled Squid
Its whats for dinner. This was on the menu in lots of places, got it in Tokyo and Kyoto, good source of protein

Nature in Close Proximity
I saw this theme many times in Japan where nature was so clearly valued and kept so close to where people live. This in Kyoto, 24 Sep 2014

Tight Quarters
I would not wish to back that vehicle in to park in that tiny space on a regular basis. I think this is pretty common in the more densely populated parts of Japan. This in Kyoto, not too far from Fushimi Inari, 24 Sep 2014

Japanese White Pine?
These were all over Japan. I don't know if this is a white pine or a black pine or something else. Cool to look at though. This one in the downtown area of Miyajimaguchi.
