Happy times on the plane
before the 11 hour flight!Well we made it. Were finally in Tokyo after a long flight, a long train ride, and finally finding our way to our hotel. Its amazing after how little sleep you've had and how tired you are, that as soon as you enter a big and exciting city, something about it just rejuvenates you. its 9 oclock in the evening here, and around 5 in the morning back home. so offically we have been up for 24 hours. Dynamite. They say you can go without sleep for 72 hours before they declare you legally insane. That makes us a third of the way there, not comforting. We briefly checked out our neighborhood by the Meguro train station and it seems to be only a taste of Tokyo. I'll be excited to see the rest when we comeback, but tomorrow, up early to catch a train to Kyoto, I promise to have better pictures!

Shannon, I hope that you have a great time. Make sure you get some of that beauty sleep, so that you don't go insane, and you can remember all that you see. Enjoy the sights and shopping. Take lots of pics. Mom
