We met yuki (my host sister) at Himeji Castle. Mum and Dad and her hit it off REALLY well, so she's coming to stay with us next year for March and April.

Yuki and Grandpa. Grandma made a HUGE spread of very special Japanese foods. Absolutely delicious, and such a treat for Mum and Dad to be able to meet these people who've really adopted me as their own. My highlight of the trip

The garden of Ginkakuij is one of the highlights of Kyoto for me so far. Just immaculate.

Nanzenji- the final temple of the day, as the sun set. Again, huge, impressive temple grounds. We even found an aquaduct in this one!
