Sleep was had but what am I supposed to do at 4am? You lot were stuffing your Easter eggs 🙄.
A cycle tour around Hiroshima Peace Park and castle, an education for all but the small stories remain with you; Tori gates that remained standing, Sadako Sasaki and her paper cranes, eucalyptus trees that survived but their leaves grew as a totally different shape until recently when some branches have the original shaped leaves but mostly the accounts and fates of the mobilised school children.
Spent the afternoon in Miyajima with ALL the other tourists before an excellent Okonmiyake dinner.
Trying to stay awake till 10 in the hope of a full nights sleep.
