Disneyland
I applaud the service crew for being soooo thoughtful. Saw me signalling to my son to stand while a take a picture of him, the balloon handler came forward, knelt down so that the bouquet of balloons form a nice backdrop for my photo. Now ... to Part 3 of our 12 days Japan adventure.
We explored bustling Tokyo city, strolled along at leisure pace in the quaint and peaceful Hakone, trying our best to enjoy the place to the max. Now is the time to let our hair down and have a "wild" time ... haha i meant wow time ... at Disneyland and DisneySea.
i booked Hilton Bay for 4 days 3 nights. This gives us 3 full days at both Disneyland and Disneysea. We bought the multi-day passport pass for Disney. With this multi-day pass, we had to indicate which park we wanted to visit on Day 1 and Day 2. We could choose which park to visit on day 3. The answer is obvious. We visited Disneyland on Day 1, Disneysea on Day 2 ... and on Day 3, my sonnie chose to go back to Disneyland.
On entering Disneyland, I was impressed and awed by the magnificent grandeur of the place. Disneyland is also huge and super clean. I was further wowed by what one of the Disney staff did. The Disney staff; holding a bouquet of balloons (I think she was holding like 50 or more
Cars Inc Ride
This is a baby ride. There's no need to steer as the cars are fixed on some sort of rail. Just need to step on the accelerator ... vroooom vrooomm ... balloons), from afar, saw me signalling to my sonnie, asking him to pose for me to take a pic. She came forward (but still some distance from my son), knelt down behind my sonnie ... so as to form a very nice backdrop for my photo. I mean ... where to find such "service"?
The first thing we did was to grab a map of Disneyland and orientate ourselves. After which we mapped out which rides we were going to go for. My sonnie is a car enthusiast and at that time, he was crazy about the movie Cars Inc and Monster's Inc. So YES ... you guessed right! We headed straight for those rides ... Fortunate for us, the Monsters Inc queue wasn't as long as we had expected it to be ... we queued for only about 25 minutes ... In fact those rides that we went for ... we did not have to queue for more than half an hour. Cool! We tried to clear all the baby rides ... meaning to say ... no plunging, diving, corkscrew movements .... hahaha ... because we weren't sure if our sonnie can take it 😊 It is also
here that my sonnie experienced and watched his first 4D movie. Mickey's PhiharMagic and the Shreg movie.
The weather was gloriously sunny yet cool, We snapped lots of photos, watched all the 4D movies, didn't have to queue long for all the rides and (except for the "hair-raising" ones ...) and ate "cutesie" food designed in the shape of Mickey Mouse.
We visited Disneysea on Day 2. Disneysea, in my opinion does not appeal to little kids as much as Disneyland BUT ... that doesn't mean Disneysea is not nice. Disneysea has its own beauty and charisma. In Disneysea, just to name a few, we could see the "land" of Aladdin & his Princess and The little Mermaid, Ariel and her friends. There is also an area landscaped to look like Venice in Italy. I felt that we could just stroll through the different "lands" and perhaps ... sit and chill in an Italian café and enjoy a cuppa.
