We made it to Ueno this morning in time for Geoff's opening and artist's talk a the museum and gallery. We had lunch at Cafe Muse for soba noodles and iced coffee floats. Then we toured the zoo. There were some animals I had never seen, even a deer that was as small as a rabbit full grown and a giant newt the size of an alligator. We made it just in time for the night opening at the gallery which was so packed. We all then headed to an izayka for pub food and beer.
