Lucky enough to be here during the Sakura season. It is a national past time to stroll along the parks and river beds underneath a tunnel of full blooming cherry blossom. Japanese even have “Hanami parties” which you picnic under the cherry blossom trees. Companies stake out spots and hold morale events. We totally lucked out on the weather too, last week I heard it snowed but today was sunny and warm. Around the palace is a popular spot, as well as Chidorigafuchi, I’d you can score a boat ride that would be super awesome. The line was too long for us....
