Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi prefecture is known for its colorful collection of wisterias that bloom every spring. Although winter is off-season for flowers, the park is a must-visit during colder months.

The stunning winter illumination event held at the park is considered one of the three greatest winter illuminations in Japan. The illumination features over 5 million colorful LED lights at the vast park of 100,000 square meters with the concept of the lights and flowers.

Many of their lights are actually in the shape of different flowers. We will be discovering ponds filled with lilac-colored water lily lights, rose-like lights blooming from the ground, and wisteria-like lights dangling from wooden trellises.

Strolling around the dreamy night garden will leave precious memories, and impressive postcards to share with your friends. Let's enjoy the magical collaboration of lights and flowers!
