Day Twenty Four: Someone's at the door

It's not a good idea to move house on 3 hours sleep because then you end up getting confused and wearing white tracksuit pants and black work shoes with Sanaes mums cardigan wheeling your bag across to the other side of the suburb. If you do this, you will get a few weird looks and muttered Japanese comments.
Anyway, it may have been unconventional but at least we're all moved in now! We've also had our first guest, Sanaes boyfriend Manabu, and although he walked back with us to our place after dinner at the doma doma, he still didn't mind waiting outside, and then ringing the doorbell so Sanae and I could look at each other in surprise and say "Oh! That's the doorbell!" and "I wonder who that could be?"
Which was very nice of him.

Yay! I have a home!!
