Just passing by ....
After taking the Randen train from the Arashiyama area where I visited the Iwatayama monkey park, I was on my way to visit Kinkakuji , the Golden Paviion which is a Zen temple and its top two floors are covered in Gold leaf. Once you reach the East end of the Randen line and the Kitanohakubaicho Station, it is about a 10 minute walk North to Kinkakuji. It was a nice weather day, and some of my photos turned out quite well, it was well worth the visit and yet a few more moments of Zen.

It was a nominal fee to tour Kinkakuji, ¥ 400.
