Kennin-ji

My favorite place in Kyoto

Roadside shrine, Sagano

These are everywhere in Sagano.

Super-charming, nobody else there.

Cutest temple ever.

Ginkaku-ji

Crowded, but worth it. Worth going early.

Kinkaku-ji

Incredibly crowded. Obviously worth it.

Zen dry rock garden

I can't remember where this was. There are so many in Kyoto, many of them empty. Ryoan-ji is super-famous and super-crowded, but the others (like this one) are just as fine.
