hello everyone.

so, i have not written recently b/c i have no internet. i am sitting at the library right now. its a strange library. i:m on the edge of this huge grey brick building, that goes up like 6 floors, but all the hallways leading anywhere are blocked off. its like the heart of the library is protected from the general public. but why? i wonder what sort of thigs they could be using the large space for. my guess is paper work. it turns out japan revolves around paper work. how could this be? everything is so small and technological out here? common misconception. i shall explain with an example. i used to have the internet. then one day it stopped. sad but true, i no longer have the internet. so off me and graham went to yahoo bb (our previous provider). we filled out the forms, choose our spead, everything was going so well, until they told us it would take a month at least. a month? wtf? we had the phone jack, and the modem. but b/c we were starting a new account, they need to send a phone guy over to make sure we have a jack. strange i know. then, they need to do paper work confirming this. my guess is this will take 2 weeks, maybe 3. then someone will bring us a new modem. strange, but true. then there will be more paper work. taking approx 5 weeks. this is the strangest concept to me. and alas, i cannot type anymore. the keyboard has mysteriously switched to the japanese version, and the letters have now changed. anyways, i will write soon.

i am doing well. everything is fine. me and graham are meeting people and saving money. we were going to go to tokyo this weekend, but hes sick. so no tokyo. i did however find regular sized hamburger buns. this is the highlight of my week. everything out here is so miniature

love anni
