THANKS LAETITIA
I felt the Tengger deserved a Portrait blog...beautiful faces...so I have kept the story of how we became accepted as locals by the Tengger to my next blog...hope you get a kick out of it...and the portraits...speak for themselves...allowed me to capture their characters...and as you are the first to comment...the next blog is for you.

TENGGER

THANKS SHANE
Nice choice. A comment from the Travelcamel...always appreciated...makes it worthwhile to do a blog that is really just for the portraits...more to come. I did not expect Java to be portrait paradise...but it was...the Tengger...I have lots of favourites.

Old faces
I am loving your portraits of the older folk - every line & wrinkle tells a story - my favourite is the 1st pic - Tengger man - he makes me feel happy & he is not airbrushed - yeh for wrinkles!!!

COCKLE'S BACK
