the people at compassion welcomed us up the stairs with flower petals, it was so beautiful, we felt so unworthy!

this is one of the MANY photos we took with the kids that day, remember when digital cameras first came out, everyone took a hundred pictures of themselves and friends just to be able to look at it right away? well its still a huge novelty for these guys!

rickshaw guy sleeping. he literally picks this thing up and runs with customers on it down a road with cars, buses, motorcycles, autorickshaws, cows, pedestrians, dogs....... i dont know how much he charges, i couldnt bring myself to ride on it, although if i did, i'd probably give him a million dollars
