TAPKESHWAR MAHADEV MANDIR

Today (23-july-2012) i visited one of the famous temple of dehradun.i heard about this temple since my childhood.but finally today i visited it.It's raining heavily in the morning,and it seems our plan to visit the temple is going to be cancelled out.we planed to move at 8am but due to rain, we moved at 9am.another person with me is NETESH.He is my neighbour and such a nice and decent guy.as we were travelling it again started raining heavily.but thank god when we reached there it again stoped for some time as we also had to walk for some half kilometers.so get saved from getting drenched.

This temple is very famous in the region and is dedicated to LORD SHIVA.This is very old temple.and is situated deep inside the rocks. At the bottom,river flows.And the water level is very high today because it's monsoon season.It is considered very auspicious to visit the temple in monsoon season and to place milk over the LING OF SHIVA.
