Mahabalipuram

Okay here are some pictures of Mahabalipuram. I really enjoyed being here. It was quiet and didn't have the traffic and noise of Bangalore. We stayed at a small hotel called the SeaBreeze, there were a whole lot of tourists. The most I've seen since being here but I guess that's the difference between working in India and traveling around, I go to work, go home, eat out every now and again and repeat. So it's nice to have a break. Alright, enough rambling.

In the pic is the Shore Temple. We had to pay 250 rupees to get in. No problem except that somewhere between the first gate and the second gate my friend lost her ticket. So the second guard wouldn't let us get any closer than the pic you see. Apparently these all are rock temples. Pretty impressive.
