Yes, you heard it here first! It's the official 9 year old report and I would have to agree. This week we have continued to enjoy Banyon beach, the thrills of the scooter, playing with the Tamilian children, visiting the Auroville Botanical Garden and planting some seeds in the vegetable garden at Aspiration. -as named by the British apparently. The large black seeds are toxic. You sort of suck on them, chewing off the white part, I like it!

The kids like to buy a pastry at Auroville bakery and bring it to this tree, Moringa oleifera or "Drumstick Tree", which has edible leaves and flowers, and eat it while climbing.

The little local market. The locals go here a couple times a day, buying fresh produce and groceries for each meal. They don't rely on refrigeration much here. In fact, they store left overs in a mesh cabinet and whatever isn't finished by the next morning gets composted.
