Udaipur, the blue city, never thought will be so enchanting, its beautiful and very less crowded, people are honest, food is delicious and houses are cheap on rent.
We have a day left after visiting the first day to Chittorgarh, there are quiet a few sightseeing can be done. The city is called a lake city with some beautiful lake like Pichola lake, Fateh sagar lake........
U can roam the city in auto, its better to book it for a day, they know all the spot and the shortest route, and comes in very affordable price, since we were three that option was preferable and the auto fellow has the card of all the tourist destination.
Maharana Pratap Smarak the rajput hero is one place to see, also the museum is deplecting the war pictures along with huge replica of the war ground, u can also see the story of his loyal horse Chetak over there.
Jagdish temple just in front of city palace is also worth mentioning.
Now standing alone is the city palace, once u enter the gate u will be mesmerised by the vastness of the palace, u cant complete it in one go, the interiors are even more beautiful, it wil take minimum 3 hrs to roam around the whole palace.
From the palace u can see Jal mahal, which is now converted into the heritage hotel, another palace that is Hawa mahal is on the mountain peak, and when in dark when all the lights are on it seem like overhanging and hence the name hawa mahal.
