After our rooftop tears we decided a good cheer me up might be some traditional dancing at the museum (part of the massive palace which is more like 400m not 100m long oops). The setting was on an old stone rooftop courtyard and there was over an hour of dancing and puppet show representing many of the different parts of Rajisthan and Gujarat. It was spectacular and a lot of fun, our favourite was a cymbals dance where two brightly dressed women tied tiny cymbals to their arms and legs and proceeded to hit different ones with a second cymbal swinging from their hand. Hard to describe but amazing to watch!
