Here is a temporary lake where we stopped on our way via camel cart to a Bishnoi village. October is just after monsoon season in India and so many lakes like this remain for the next few months.

This is Gemar Singh's four year old daughter. After Corey and I sang her a few songs (I'm a little teapot & Itsy bitsy spider, respectively) she warmed up to us enough for us to take her picture.

She did not speak any English and was very shy but did allow Corey to watch her cook dinner. She is stirring a tasty buttermilk curry.

The Blue City of Jodhpur is famous for its very blue buildings, especially in its older northern and western sections.
