India

On the way to Nepal, we were forced to spend a night in Delhi...

After two flights and 20 somewhat hours later, we arrived in Delhi at night.
By the time we arrived at hour hotel, we had no choice but eating dinner at hotel, because everything was closed.
Dinner at hotel was surprisingly good...

We didn't know whether it was the time difference or being away from home, but we woke up at 6AM (this never happens, especially when we are on vacation), instead of going back to sleep, we decided to take advantage of our short layover in Delhi. We walked around our hotel neighborhood. It was so early that there were not that many people out so streets were quiet and some where still sleeping on streets. It was heartbreaking to see some people's living conditions and I felt guilty of how much I take advantage sometimes (maybe most of times).

Experiences like these make me realize how lucky I am and how much I should help more to make the world a better place... one step and one person at a time...
