Okay, sitting on board of our Air India flight to Mumbai (oh wait - we are stopping in Delhi - the ticket lady didn’t like that one ☺ Air India has gone up in my book since 2007 and my study abroad in Paris! Movie screen is touch screen and about the size of my PowerBook G4 (thank you mother)! Flight wasn’t full - so we had an extra seat to stretch out on! Very smooth flight - after a rough take-off this morning!

Thank you North Europe for canceling flights/delaying and causing me a whole lot of trouble getting to London. Two cancelled flights/many hours/and one very quick phone call to BA get me on the only London flight going out on Sunday allowing me to meet up with Pete for our connection! Having Matt, Roshven, Theo and Austin as a mini-van kiss-n-fly Brussels National drop off, one Starbucks hot chocolate later, and a very quick up and down flight to London - we had a pint and a full English breakfast! I would hope we are landing soon - map is not working so really no idea.

Nirvana Hostel will pick us up at the airport - and they did! We are now at the hostel. Bags upstairs, beds made, coffee in mug, and laptop on lap. Letting parents etc know we are well and alive! Well the same might not be able to be said about the man that crashed into the side of our car on the ride home. . . or the car that rear ended us 5 minutes later. “It’s India” was all the driver would say and then give a big smile. Well, we smiled back and held on for our lives (okay it wasn’t that bad - but man it is utter chaos here!!) People everywhere, it’s a free for all kind of country it seems! Drive where you want, when you want. When our driver wanted to make a right hand turn (cuz they drive on the left over here) he stopped the car, grabbed some random guy to stop all other cars and we somehow got through the mess of traffic to a side street where our hostel is located! Welcome to India my friends! Let you know what happens next! We’re off to take naps ☺

Pete's Point of View -
So, here we are, still alive, or to say more accurately, Emily hasn't throttled me yet! That considered it's gone quite smoothly, slight worry over the baggage, quickly sorted! The flight was really quite good, Marty's favorite movie was on ...... 17 again! Must be the same part of his brain that holds all his atomic kitten knowledge which likes it so much??d

Just arrived at the Hostel, the journey here, as explained by Em, was colorful!! the hostel is really nice, situated among the randomness of Indian light industry and endless vegetable and Banana outlets!

We're Just going to chill for today I think, recharge and then head out and tale in all Delhi has to offer tomorrow!

Speak soon x x

(author's note - my mother said i cant spell and frankly she is correct. get over it and enjoy the content - thx)
