hello everyone! India is a nice place. It has preserved its culture through the ages of time. Taj mahal in Agra, India one of the seven wonders of the world, is still there. Many relec-structures from centuries BC were preserved to serve as tourist spot for the current times. The tourist guides explain thoughly the relevance of the structures to their history and culture. Taj mahal was built because of the great love of the King to his third wife who bore him 12 children. my story about the other places i went to will be continued... with the pictures posted. have patience...

This is a piece of poetry in marble. Every marble screen, every bit of inlaid wall is a marvel craftsmanship. This was built by Emperor Shah Jahan as the final resting place of his favorite queen, Muntaz Mahal. Built by Persian architect Ustad Isa. It took 22 years of hard labour of 20,000 workers, masons and jewellers

The red sandstone entrance to the Taj has verses from the Korean inscribed on it with the four minarets, its vaulted arches, the inlaid semi-precious stones are leading to the central dome of the Taj. Below the dome are the cenotaphs of Mumtaz Majal and Shah Jahan. Far below in locked basement , hidden from human eye, lie the king and queen in their actual tombs, united in death.

This Fort is at a distance from the Taj. As you walk from the Fort to Musamman Burj, you will be able to spot the Taj Mahal across the banks of the Yamuna. This is where Shah Jahan spent the twilight of his life as a prisoner, gazing at the mausoleum he had built for his dear wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
