Discrimination in Kerala state among genders.



Quite often my foreign guests asked about this. This seem to be funny for them. You go to church, you can see one side of church reserved for ladies. Travel in a passenger bus. Seat are divided between genders.

They ask me why?

I can’t answer them.

They say, Kerala is model for woman empowerment. Educational standards. In per capita income, in health care.

But even nowadays this discrimination prevails. In professional educational institutions like medical colleges.

Finally I answered my lady guests.

Have you ever noticed the stares of my countrymen? Their starving eyes.

This is only a pre caution to save them from eagle nails.

They are not convinced. They do read news papers & watch news channels every day during their visits.

Minimum half a dozen of sexual harassments everyday.
