We went out on a morning safari where we saw more beautiful elephants and tons of birds. I'm not crazy about birds.... but still tons of fun. In the evening we went on a lake safari. The water was a little rough and we were seriously concerned that after we were just pulling out there was lightning of which the tour guide did not seem the least bit concerned. We asked him and he saw no danger insisting that because we were seated on wood we would not be struck. We argued that we were on water with a large metal roof and that the wood we were seated on would conduct electricity. The lake safari definetly showed more animals, probably because it is the hot season so they are all drawn to the watering hole. The lake safari was operated by a neighbouring resort that was newly built and incredible.
