McLeod - Dalai Lama Teaching

Arrived back in McLeod today. The Dalai Lama is teaching at his Temple 15th-17th Sept. Very exciting! Going to do a few English Conversation classes and have a few days before the teachings. Nice to be back!

Overland travel adventure

Overland travel adventure. Am trying to do a travelling adventure without flying. This is quite a challenge considering the world seems set up for flying... There is no technofix to the disastrous impact of air travel on the environment - the only answer is to ground most of the aeroplanes flying today. Bum parking in the temple
Good luck Michelle finding a space to sit, lots of people stake their place days before! Though for your info I found that the teachings could be picked up from the balcony of Khana Nirvana (though you might miss some of the stuff like bread being given out, don't forget to wait till its blessed till you eat it, also its not compulsory to drink the butter tea!)
