goa with friends

so we headed to goa by a short flight..the first thing that strikes you about anything goa is casual..people were literally wearing slippers on the flight!!

we headed to the taj exotica, a beautiful property..we were meeting our friends there from delhi. the next few days we would catch the world cup final and generally stay chilled. i would end up spending quite a bit of time indoors due to a mild illness but i do remember the food to be excellent and catching the match at the bar when india won the world cup and the entire audience broke into a cheer. we also walked down to the beach one night and had breakfast the following morning at the coffee shop.

i cant recall much of goa except it was serene and luxurious, there were palm trees dotting the landscape and beautiful mansions..a short ride back and we were home.
