We arrived in Hong Kong Monday evening after a 14 hour flight, luckily the plane was half empty so we had room to stretch our legs. When we arrived we were greeted by beaming smiles from Mazi's family who had graciously come to pick us up and deliver us to our temperorary home in Mong Kok with Mazi's Aunt and Uncle.
We have since been enjoying the sites and gorging on all kinds of food including Uncle Ejeung's delicious scallops which were purchased from the market near his home.
Our site seeing has brought us to the waterfront and downtown districts of Central and Admiralty which we toured after a short MTR ride (subway). We watched the laser show on the waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, visited Ocean Park and rode the rollercoasters and saw the animal exhibits (including a massive fish tank resembling an atoll reef, panda's, and a Jelly Fish exhibit). We strolled along the streets of Mong Kok with the crowds and have rode the double-decker busses and marvelled at how the traffic flows. Yesterday, we took the ferry to Lamma Island and got a way from the crowd.
