Woke up this morning feeling bit better so we headed out for bite to eat then to avenue of the stars. Only stars we recognised though were jackie chan and bruce lee. Had a nice drink at harbour and relaxed before deciding to head back to hostel to collect some things then take bus tour. Arrived back at hostel however to signs on our doors saying we had been moved rooms. When went into our old rooms all our stuff had gone and been replaced by someone elses!. I was pretty mad at this point as my bag was unpacked, I had dirty laundrey out, shower stuff, ipod, travel documents etc. So stormed down and demanded refund for both nights as he had no right moving our stuff. After arguement got our refund, and stuff back. All packed wrongly and all over the place although dont think anything missing. Saw room we should of had and had booked also, far nicer than room he gave us first night. Spent next two hours looking for somewhere to stay, ending up in expensive hotel as no decent hostels available! Bit of a bad mistake booking previous one. My mum was lovely enough to pay for me to stay in hotel tomorrow night too as felt very unsafe in other place especially with knowledge that they just went in our rooms and moved things despite having my phone number. Plus whatsoever canadian about hostel when run by koreans? Scam I think and very unsafe if fire. Anyway in lovely hotel now but bit out of centre. Went to indonesian restaurant for dinner where we got free sweet potato desert, ugh lol. Should get excellent sleep tonight as spacious room and my mum has booked airport bus for tomorrow. Looking forward to relaxing in hotel tomorrow with swim and bath and just getting better for vietnam.
